ABOUT US
The Limestone Baptist Association was organized in 1915 and is, currently, 105 years old. We offer ministerial support to the 37 Southern Baptist churches in Limestone county. Our mission is to equip churches for spiritual growth, engage the community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and encourage the saints around us to share the Gospel. ROSS CLEMMONS - Director of Missions
Ross began serving as the leader of the Limestone Baptist Association in February 2026, bringing with him more than 35 years of vocational ministry experience and a deep passion for pastors, churches, and the Gospel.
After 23 years as Lead Pastor of The Grove Baptist Church in Limestone County, Ross now pours his energy into encouraging pastors and helping churches work together to fulfill the mission God has given us. He is passionate about strengthening the local church and seeing God’s people united for His Kingdom.
Ross holds a Master of Arts in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Samford University.
Ross and his amazing wife, Beth, are blessed with six adult children and one grandson. Outside of ministry, he enjoys country living, hiking, ATVs, Jeeping, and farming—but his greatest joy is spending time with his family and serving the Lord.
JoDe Wilson - Ministry Assistant
JoDe Wilson serves as the Ministry Assistant for the Limestone Baptist Association, bringing a heart for people, ministry, and serving the local church.
A graduate of The University of Alabama and a recent retiree from NASA, JoDe enjoys using her experience and gifts to support the pastors, churches, and ministries of the Limestone Baptist Association.
JoDe is an active member of First Baptist Church Athens, where she sings in the choir, teaches Young Marrieds Sunday School, and serves in both the Youth and Senior Adult Ministries.
She and her husband, Corey, are the proud parents of twin daughters, Maddie and Susanna.
Outside of ministry, JoDe treasures time with her family and loves being involved in the life of her church and community.
